Subject: Internet Explorer Version 8 Released by Microsoft
On March 19, 2009 Microsoft released Internet Explorer v8 (IE v8). Microsoft will push IE v8 through the Windows Update service mid-April. Since many vendors have yet to certify applications to run using IE v8, it is recommended that you do not download the new version.
UITS is in the process of testing the various UConn applications (Brio, Vista, Student Administration, etc.). An information web site is available to check the status of these tests. Visit, http://tss.uconn.edu/ie8.html
